When safety is non-negotiable, your choice of textile can be the difference between a minor incident and a life-altering injury. At TextileCloth, our Flame Retardant (FR) Fabric series is engineered to provide critical protection against heat and flames. By utilizing advanced chemical treatments and high-performance fibers, we ensure our textiles actively resist ignition and self-extinguish when the heat source is removed.
We understand that for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) manufacturers, compliance is the foundation of trust. Our FR textiles are designed to meet or exceed international safety standards, ensuring low heat transfer and zero molten drip. Whether you are sourcing for petrochemical workwear, electrical arc protection, or flame-resistant home furnishings, our fabrics deliver certified, reliable safety without compromising on durability.
Critical Ignition Resistance: Engineered to prevent the spread of flames and minimize char length.
Zero Molten Drip: Prevents secondary burn injuries caused by the melting and sticking of synthetic fibers to the skin.
Balanced Comfort: Optimized yarn structures that provide thermal protection while allowing moisture and heat to escape from the wearer.

To select the correct flame-resistant solution for your industry, it is essential to understand the two primary technologies we offer:
An excellent cost-effective solution for industrial workwear. These cotton or TC fabrics undergo specialized chemical processing that alters the fiber at the molecular level. They provide reliable protection and are designed to maintain their FR properties through 50 to 100 industrial washes.
The gold standard for high-risk environments. Inherent FR fabrics are made from fibers that are naturally flame-resistant (such as Aramids or Modacrylics). Because the protection is part of the fiber itself, it cannot be washed out or worn away, offering lifetime protection for the garment.
For electrical and utility workers, we provide specialized FR fabrics tested for Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV). We can also combine FR properties with anti-static or water-repellent functions for comprehensive multi-hazard protection.
Q: What international standards do your FR fabrics comply with? A: Our fabrics are rigorously tested to meet global benchmarks including EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 11612 (Heat and Flame), and NFPA 2112 (Flash Fire). We can provide full laboratory certification for your project documentation.
Q: How does the FR treatment affect the skin? A: We utilize high-quality, Oeko-Tex certified chemicals that are bound securely to the fibers. Our fabrics are pH-neutral and skin-safe, ensuring no irritation for workers who wear these garments during long shifts.
Q: Can you provide customized colors for high-visibility FR requirements? A: Yes. We can match your corporate colors while ensuring the dyes do not interfere with the flame-retardant properties. We also offer High-Visibility (EN 20471) FR fabrics for increased safety on construction and oil sites.
