Products for category Seersucker Fabrics
Seersucker is a woven fabric characterized by alternating tight and slack warp yarns. The slack yarns buckle upward, creating a permanent puckered stripe effect. Unlike pleated or crimped fabrics, seersucker’s texture is woven in — it will not wash out, iron flat, or press out.
The puckered texture keeps the fabric off the skin in the raised areas, creating natural air channels that improve ventilation and reduce heat buildup. For warm-climate uniform programs, seersucker is a traditional and effective solution.
