Poly-rayon (TR) fabrics combine the durability, wrinkle resistance, and shape retention of polyester with the softness, drape, and comfort of rayon (viscose). TR is the most widely specified fabric for corporate suiting, uniform trousers, and professional blazers worldwide — offering a cleaner appearance than cotton, better drape than poly-cotton, and easier care than wool.
The “T” (polyester/Terylene) provides strength, wash durability, and crease retention. The “R” (rayon/viscose) provides softness, fluid drape, and a premium matte finish. Typical blends range from 65/35 to 80/20 polyester/rayon depending on the application.
