Why 30-Cycle Wash Durability?
This fabric is rated for 30-cycle antimicrobial durability — not the 50-cycle standard of our PC and CVC fabrics. This is by design, not a limitation:
Natural fiber content (55/45 linen-cotton) — Silver ion bonds more durably to synthetic fibers. Natural fibers have fewer binding sites for the treatment. This is inherent to the chemistry, not a quality issue.
Typical garment lifespan in premium hospitality — Resort and spa uniforms are typically replaced on a 6–12 month cycle, not the 18–24 month cycle of heavy-duty industrial programs. At weekly washing, 30 cycles covers 7+ months of use — matching the uniform replacement schedule.
Gentle wash protocol — Linen-cotton blends are washed at lower temperatures (40°C, not 60–75°C) than PC workwear, which reduces mechanical stress on any finish.
For premium hospitality programs where the uniform is replaced seasonally or annually, 30-cycle durability is fit for purpose. If longer durability is required, we recommend switching to a PC or CVC base fabric with the same antimicrobial treatment.
