PCT-190-AM is a 65/35 poly-cotton twill treated with silver ion (Ag+) antimicrobial finish — the most widely specified fabric for healthcare and medical uniform programs that require built-in bacterial protection.
The 65% polyester content provides the durability and wrinkle resistance needed for industrial laundry environments. The 35% cotton delivers comfort against skin during 10–12 hour shifts. The twill 2/1 construction balances strength with a clean, professional appearance.
The silver ion treatment is applied in the finishing stage using a pad-dry-cure process. Silver ions (Ag+) disrupt bacterial cell membranes and metabolic enzymes on contact, preventing microbial growth on the fabric surface. The treatment is bonded to the fiber with a cross-linking agent that withstands 50+ industrial wash cycles while maintaining ≥99% bacterial reduction.
